Insurance & Payment Options

At Redwater Eye Care, we accept most health insurance plans, checks, cash, and all credit cards. We inform our patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. Your receipt will break down the costs, which you and the optician will discuss before the order is even placed.

Vision Insurance

Redwater Eye Care does accept some vision plans and primary health insurance. Here is a current list of some of the providers that we accept:

We encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to very eligibility and understand your benefits before your appointment. We will help you understand your insurance coverage and answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits. Many current vision plans are designed to cover most of the basic vision-related costs, but not all costs associated with eye care. Most plans often require a co-payment for an office appointment and you would incur any added charges if you choose to upgrade options offered by the optician that are not part of your plans coverage.

Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts

We accept and encourage you to use your Flexible Spending accounts/Health Savings Account for your eye care needs. Once you have paid, we will give you an itemized receipt that you can submit to your plan. You also have access to your receipts when you log into your personal health record.
